Shape music that plays itself.
Soundinator composes music as it plays. You set the rules for melody, rhythm and harmony, design the instruments, and place them in a 3D room.

How it works.
Five parts make up every piece.
Start from a patch
Load a patch from the library or the community, then adjust its tempo, groove and range.
Melody
Set the range, the size of the steps and how often phrases repeat. The melody is composed from those settings.
Harmony
Chords are chosen by how they actually sound: the engine measures the roughness between the real overtones of the instrument, so consonance holds in any tuning.
Scales from everywhere
Play in scales and tunings from around the world, or leave 12-tone behind altogether.
Sound
Instruments are modelled on bowed strings, wind and struck surfaces, and shaped stage by stage.
Space
Place each instrument in a binaural room, near or far, in front or behind.
Drums
Create drum loops where you set the probability of each hit.
All together
Arrange takes on a timeline and export the finished track.
Share patches and pieces with the community, and hear what others have made.
